Have you applied for an Emirates ID but are unsure of when you will get one? The Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs, and Ports Security offers a number of ways for applicants to verify the progress of their Emirates ID application (ICP).
– Visit the link – https://icp.gov.ae/en/services/priority-services/id-card-status/
– If you are applying for an Emirates ID for the first time, enter the Application Number (PRAN), which is listed on your copy of the application form. Enter your Emirates ID number if you’ve requested an ID replacement or renewal.
– The system will then provide you with an update on your Emirates ID’s status.
How you will receive your Emirates ID
A nearby post office will receive the Emirates ID. You only need to attend the post office and present the SMS to receive your Emirates ID once ICP texts you the delivery date and location of the Emirates Post post office.
By giving your application number to ICP, you may also obtain information on the time and place where your Emirates ID will be delivered.
