Whether they are Saudi citizens, residents, or tourists, anyone can check for traffic offenses via the “Absher” platform, an official online site for Saudi government services. You can inquire about the fines using one of your principal forms of identification, like your passport, without creating an Absher account.

How to check for traffic violations in Saudi Arabia

1. Go to the Absher website, absher.sa, and click the first of the three options under “individual.”
2. Choose the service ‘Query Traffic Violation for Visitor’ under ‘Public services’. To access this service on the module, you would need to use the scrolling feature.
3. Next, you can use the following document numbers to inquire about any traffic fines you may have received:

• Border Number
• Passport Number
• ID card
• Iqama 
• Housing card
• Saudi ID in GCC

Choose any one of the options available, and enter the identity document number in the next field.

4. Enter the captcha code.
5. Click on the ‘View’ button.
