Are you looking for a new home? The following is how you can check the previous rents on a property in Dubai

Have you found the right place to call home but aren’t sure if the rent is too high?

You may now look up a property’s transaction history on an online platform to get full information about the property’s history and price changes over time.

The Dubai Land Department (DLD) and DXBinteract signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in February this year to provide clients with precise and reliable data, allowing them to follow pricing changes for properties.

So, if you’ve decided on a particular apartment or villa and want to find out how much the previous tenants paid for it, take these steps:

  1. Go to dxbinteract.com and fill out the form.
  2. From the top menu, select ‘Property history.’
  3. Decide whether you want an apartment or a villa.
  4. Type in the area’s name.
  5. If you choose ‘apartment,’ you’ll see a list of all the buildings in the area you’ve chosen in the next dropdown option.

If you’re looking for a villa, all you have to do is enter the property number to see the property’s rental transaction history.

What is the property number?

Your property’s property number differs from its Ejari number. The property number for your residential unit will be listed on the title deed, or you can contact your real estate firm to obtain it.
