Al Hosn app: How to generate Umrah vaccine certificates

If you are preparing for an upcoming Umrah trip, utilizing the Al Hosn App is a convenient method to consolidate all your vaccine documents in one accessible location.

On April 5, the Al Hosn app shared information on its official social media platforms regarding how pilgrims can easily retrieve their certificates through the app.

How to generate the Umrah certificate?

To access your vaccine certificates for Umrah, simply open the app and navigate to the ‘certificates’ section on the home page. Select ‘View all’ to see the available options.

You will find an ‘Umrah’ category under ‘Health reports’. Click on this category to view all relevant vaccine certificates. From there, you can choose to download the certificates as a PDF document or share them digitally.

Additionally, the app generates a QR code for each certificate. This QR code can be scanned to easily access and verify the certificate.

What are the vaccine requirements for Umrah pilgrims?

In your Umrah medical file, you should ensure that you have received the following vaccinations:

Meningitis Conjugate

The meningitis vaccine should be administered at least three years before embarking on the Umrah pilgrimage, but no later than 10 days before departure.

Influenza

Before embarking on their Umrah journey, pilgrims should ensure they are vaccinated against seasonal influenza, especially those who are at a higher risk of severe illness from the flu.
