As the UAE residents prepare for the upcoming long Eid break, the transport authorities in the UAE have released the timings for free parking and extended the operating hours for public transport services during the public holiday. This information is crucial for those who plan to travel during the holiday season.

To provide a comprehensive overview, we have compiled all the announcements made by the authorities in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, and Ras Al Khaimah. This will help residents plan their travel and parking arrangements accordingly, ensuring a hassle-free experience during the holiday season.

Free parking in Abu Dhabi

On Monday, June 26th, the Integrated Transport Centre (ITC), Abu Dhabi’s esteemed transport authority, made a noteworthy announcement. The ITC declared that parking in the Emirate will be free from June 27th until 7:59 am on July 1st. This is a generous gesture that will undoubtedly be appreciated by the residents and visitors of Abu Dhabi.

No Darb Toll Gate charges

During the upcoming Eid Al Adha holidays, the Darb Toll Gate System in Abu Dhabi will be free of charge from June 27th to June 30th. This means that motorists can enjoy a hassle-free journey without the need to pay any toll fees during this period. Take advantage of this opportunity to travel with ease and convenience, and make the most of your holiday experience.

Abu Dhabi public bus services during Eid Al Adha:

According to the ITC, bus services will continue to operate on their regular schedule during the Eid holiday. However, there will be an increase in the number of trips for regional services to accommodate the higher demand. This means that travelers can expect reliable and efficient transportation options during this festive season.

Free public parking in Dubai

Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) recently made an exciting announcement on Sunday, June 25th. Starting from Tuesday, June 27th to Friday, June 30th, all public parking (excluding multi-level parking terminals) will be free of charge. This is great news for those who plan on traveling during the Eid Al Adha break.

In addition to the free parking, the RTA also released information regarding changes to the operating hours of all its services during the holiday. This is important information for anyone who relies on the RTA’s services to get around Dubai.

Overall, this announcement from the RTA is a welcome relief for those who are looking to save some money during the holiday. It’s great to see the RTA taking steps to make transportation more accessible and affordable for everyone.

Metro and tram hours extended for Eid Al Adha public holidays

The Red Line of the Metro will have the Red and Green Stations operating under the following schedule:

  • Starting from June 26 until July 1, the metro service will be available from 5am until 1am the next day.
  • On July 2, the metro will operate from 8am until 1am the following day.

The Tram will operate as follows:

  • From June 26 to July 1: 6am to 1am (on the following day).
    •On July 2, the tram timing will be from: 9am to 1am (on the following day).

Dubai Public Bus timings

The schedule for public buses in Dubai is as follows:

  • Monday through Thursday, buses will run from 4:30 am until 12:30 am the next day.
  • On Fridays, buses will run from 5:00 am until 1:00 am the next day.
  • On Saturdays and Sundays, buses will run from 6:00 am until 1:00 am the next day.

Inter-city bus routes operating during the Eid Al Adha:

  • (E16) from Al Sabkha to Hatta
  • (E100) from Al Ghubaiba to Abu Dhabi
  • (E101) from Ibn Battuta to Abu Dhabi
  • (E102) from Ibn Battuta to Al Mussafah
  • (E201) from Al Ghubaiba To Al Ain
  • (E303) from the Union Station to Al Jubail in Sharjah
  • (E306) from Al Ghubaiba to Al Jubail in Sharjah
  • (E307) from City Centre Deira to Al Jubail in Sharjah
  • (E307A) from Abu Hail to Al Jubail in Sharjah
  • (E315) from Etisalat Station to Muwaileh in Sharjah
  • (E400) from the Union Station to Ajman
  • (E411) from the Etisalat Station to Ajman and (E700) from the Union Station to Fujairah.

Please be advised that Route E100, which runs to and from Al Ghubaiba Bus Station, will be temporarily re-routed to Ibn Battuta Bus Station starting at 2 pm daily from June 27th to July 2nd. This change is necessary to ensure efficient and safe transportation for all passengers during this period.

Free public parking in Sharjah

The Sharjah Municipality has recently declared that all public parking spaces throughout the city will be free of charge from June 28th to June 30th.

This temporary initiative by the Sharjah Municipality is a great opportunity for residents and visitors alike to take advantage of free parking and explore the city without worrying about parking fees. However, it is crucial to be aware of the designated paid parking zones to avoid any unnecessary fines.

Free public parking in Ajman

The Ajman Municipality has recently declared that public parking spaces throughout the Emirate will be free of charge starting from Tuesday, June 27th until Friday, June 30th. However, it is important to note that paid parking will resume on July 1st.

Ajman public bus timings extended

The Ajman Transport Authority has announced that internal bus lines will be extended during the upcoming Eid Al Adha public holidays. This means that commuters can expect more frequent and convenient bus services to cater to the increased demand during this festive period. Additionally, intercity bus routes will operate from 6 am to 1 am, providing travelers with ample time to reach their destinations.

Inter-Emirate bus timings for Eid Al Adha holidays

Ajman Transport has also announced the Inter –Emirate bus schedule for the Eid Al Adha holidays, here are the details:
• Ajman Industrial Area to Rolla, Sharjah: 7am to 12am
• Ajman to Umm Al Quwain: 7am to 10pm
• Ajman to Abu Dhabi: 7 am to 7.30 pm
• Abu Dhabi to Ajman: 10.30 am to 9 pm
• Ajman to Sharjah: 6am to 12am
• Ajman to Ras Al Khaimah: 7.30am to 9.30pm
• Ajman to Dubai: 5.45am to 10.45am
• Dubai to Ajman: 7am to 12am.

Ras Al Khaimah public bus schedule for Eid Al Adha

On Monday, June 26, the Ras Al Khaimah Transport Authority (RAKTA) made an announcement regarding the internal and intercity bus timings in the Emirate. The internal bus timings will now run from 6am to 12.15am, providing commuters with a wider window of time to travel within the city. Additionally, intercity buses will operate from 5.30am to 11pm, allowing for more convenient travel between cities.
