Riyadh's Al-Fursan and Khozam districts will provide 80,000 homes

Majed Al-Hogail, the minister of municipal, rural affairs, and housing announced that the National Housing Company (NHC) will provide Saudi households with 80,000 housing units in Riyadh’s Al-Fursan District and the second phase of Khozam District.

The development of Al-Fursan District and the second phase of Khozam District in Riyadh, which offer the largest real estate supply in the Saudi capital, was announced by the business on Monday.

The 35 million square metres Al-Fursan District, which is 35 kilometres northeast of Riyadh, seeks to house more than 250,000 people in more than 50,000 residential units.

On a total area of about 21 million square metres, the Khozam District, which lies north of Riyadh, intends to construct 30,000 dwellings for 150,000 people. NHC expected that these units will begin to arrive in early 2026.

According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), NHC plans to enhance household supplies in the Kingdom, particularly in Riyadh.

This is consistent with the goals of the Kingdom’s housing programme, which aims to increase Saudi household home ownership from to 70% by 2030.
