Before the Real Estate Brokers Affairs Committee of the Ministry of Justice (MoJ), a fresh group of licensed real estate brokers from Qatar took the oath of office.
There were 24 brokers in the batch, representing both brokerage businesses and private people.
Once they had passed the required training course, they took the oath once the licensing procedures under Law No. 22 of 2007 on regulating real estate brokerage activities were finalized.
Noting that the new licensed batch of real estate brokers is a new addition to the roster of registered brokers, Amer Saeed al-Ghafri, Director of the Real Estate Registration Department at MoJ, greeted the new licensed batch and wished them well as they resumed their profession.
He went on to say that they are a great way to move the real estate industry forward, which makes investments more appealing and protects consumers’ rights by using licensed brokers aware of all the legal requirements for real estate transactions.
He reaffirmed the committee’s desire to make sure that licensed real estate agents are contacted directly to greatly safeguard everyone’s rights and guarantee that deals are moving forward in the best possible way. By using the provisions of Law No. 22 of 2017 on regulating real estate activities, the MoJ is demonstrating its unwavering commitment to regulating the broker profession to support the national economy, improve work mechanisms in the real estate market, and improve the performance of brokers, including office owners and Qatari brokers.
