Oman's real estate deals rise 18.9% to $3.6 billion

When compared to OMR1.17 billion at the end of June 2022, the total value of real estate in the Sultanate of Oman climbed by 18.9% to OMR1.40 billion by the end of June 2023.

According to information provided by the National Centre for Statistics and Information (NCSI), fees collected for all legal acts were OMR33.4 million as of the end of June 2022, a rise of 10.3%.

Sales contracts had a value of OMR545.7 million and 32,907 contracts, both of which had decreased by 11.1 percent and 8.5 percent respectively.

While the number of swap contracts was 732 with a total value of OMR4.8 million, the value of mortgage contracts climbed by 52.6 percent to OMR852.1 million for 12,062 contracts.

At the end of June 2023, there were 117,870 title deeds granted, a rise of 1.3%, while there were 633 title deeds issued for Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) individuals, an increase of 79.3%.
