In November 2023, the Real Estate Registration Department at the Ministry of Justice registered a total of QR1,460,878,851 in real estate trading volume through sale contracts.
321 real estate transactions were registered during the month, according to data from the Ministry of Justice’s real estate analytical bulletin. The sold real estate index showed a ten percent increase and the traded areas index showed a seven percent increase from October 2023.
The real estate market index shows that in November 2023, the most active transactions in terms of financial value were in the municipalities of Doha, Al Rayyan, and Al Dhaayen. These were followed by Umm Salal, Al Wakrah, Al Khor and Al Dhakira, Al Shamal, and Al Shahaniya.
According to the November real estate market index, the Doha municipality’s transactions had a total financial value of QR603,706,536. The transactions of Al Rayyan municipality had a financial value of QR504,297,830, and the transactions of Al Dhaayen municipality had a financial value of QR116,096,458. The transactions made by the Umm Salal municipality were valued at QR109,356,712. Al Khor and Al Dhakira municipality recorded transactions worth QR21,835,758, Al Shamal municipality recorded trading worth QR13,715,533, and Al Shahaniya municipality recorded transactions worth QR3,000,000. Al Wakrah municipality recorded transactions worth QR88,888,024.
According to indicators for the traded space index, the municipalities of Al Rayyan, Doha, and Umm Salal were the most active in terms of traded real estate spaces in November, accounting for 36% of the total traded spaces. Doha municipality came in second with 25%, Umm Salal with 13%, Al Dhaayen with 10%, Al Wakrah with 9%, Al Khor and Al Dhakira with 3%, Al Shamal with 3%, and Al Shahaniya with 1%.
According to trading indices, the most active municipalities in November in terms of the index of the number of real estate transactions (sold properties) were Al Rayyan (28 percent), Doha (26 percent), Al Dhaayen (13 percent), Al Wakrah (13 percent), Umm Salal (12 percent), Al Khor and Al Dhakira (4 percent), and Al Shamal (4 percent) of the total real estate transactions.
For November, the average prices per square foot were as follows: (613-791) in Doha; (244-558) in Al Wakrah; (322-469) in Al Rayyan; (322-439) in Umm Salal; (255-562) in Al Dhaayen; (229-238) in Al Khor and Al Dhakira; (134-188) in Al Shamal; and 194 in Al Shahaniya.
