New real estate registry launched in Saudi Arabia

The Real Estate Registry (RER) Platform, which was introduced in Saudi Arabia, offers a number of digital services for the first time in one location, such as adding real estate rights and obligations and registering mortgages.

At the Saudi Proptech Summit in Riyadh, Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing Majid Al-Hogail unveiled the new RER platform.

The purpose of the event is to raise investment in the Kingdom and spread awareness about real estate in the Saudi market. Representatives from the National Real Estate Registration Services Company were present.

RER CEO Dr Mohammad Al Suleiman said: “We are proud to participate in the summit, and happy with the launch of the RER Platform, which represents a new phase aligned with our future vision of building a credible and transparent real estate sector.”

According to Al Suleiman, the new platform will serve as the focal point for all real estate transactions, offering a safe and dependable setting for efficiently finishing all real estate transactions.

“The platform provides quick and effective access to key information about real estate and transactions, strengthening the sector with digital solutions through a data bank that helps investors, owners, brokers, and real estate developers,” he added.
