In April, the value of real estate deals in Oman increased by 29.1%

In accordance with the most recent information made available by the National Centre for Statistics and Information (NCSI), the value of real estate transactions in the Sultanate of Oman climbed by 29.1% by the end of April 2023 to reach RO948 million compared to RO734.1 million during the same period of 2022.

The number of sale contracts declined by 10.8% to 21,245, and their value decreased by 5.7% to RO350.7mn.

7,586 mortgage contracts were valued at RO594.6 million, an increase of 66.5%, while 458 swap contracts were valued at RO2.7 million.

When compared to the same month in 2022, the number of title deeds granted in April climbed 1.3% to 76,379; however, the number of title deeds issued to inhabitants of GCC nations jumped 73.3% to 428.
