At the forthcoming MAPIC 2024 in Cannes, Diriyah Company, the mixed-use developer in Saudi Arabia responsible for transforming historic Diriyah into a world-class destination, will showcase the most recent advancements of its flagship project, with a particular emphasis on Diriyah Square.
The French city will host MAPIC, a world-renowned retail convention, from November 26 to 28.
According to Diriyah Company, the company’s involvement at MAPIC includes a number of high-level interactions that highlight its dedication to influencing the direction of urban development and retail.
Diriyah Square, the vibrant focal point of the 14-square-kilometer masterplan, will be highlighted by the Saudi developer.
According to the firm, it is positioned to become a landmark destination for dining, shopping, culture, and lifestyle, and it was designed to be the lively center of Diriyah.
Diriyah, which is situated outside of Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, will be a key component of the country’s transition. Supported by the Public Investment Fund, Diriyah is expected to draw 50 million tourists annually by 2030, significantly contributing to the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 economic diversification objectives.
Chief Development Officer Alfie Gibbs will give a speech at the Retail and Urban Regeneration Summit during the three-day event.
The November 26 event, which brings together worldwide cities, investors, landlords, and retailers, will center on retail and mixed-use urban redevelopment initiatives.
The following day, Nawaf Rajeh, Senior Director of Development & Innovation Marketing, will take part in Putting the Community at the Heart of a Project’s Success, highlighting the importance of redefining regeneration for the community by accepting local input to develop destinations that are relevant and long-lasting.
It further stated that Gibbs will hold an invitation-only briefing on Diriyah’s several retail initiatives during the event, providing unique insight into potential partnerships and investment opportunities.
