An e-platform to simplify estate distribution has been unveiled by the Saudi Justice Minister

The unified e-platform for estate distribution was unveiled by Saudi Justice Minister Walid Al-Samaani. Its goal is to streamline and accelerate the estate distribution process from the decedent’s passing to the heirs’ receipt of their just shares.

Speaking to guests at the Real Estate Future Forum in Riyadh, Al-Samaani highlighted the three main goals of the platform: promoting electronic efficiency, reducing disputes related to estate division, and expediting estate distribution processes.

The system’s objectives are to make estate distribution easier, classify them correctly, provide answers for a variety of problems, and automate the majority of the procedure.

Three different pathways are available on the e-platform: the amicable distribution pathway, the enforced distribution pathway, and the determination and notarization pathway.

Through smooth data sharing with organizations like the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Saudi Central Bank, and the Capital Market Authority, heirs can acquire both an estate certificate and a certificate verifying their status as heirs via the first route.
