A total of 400 projects will be developed on Kuwait's Al-Saji island

On Kuwait’s artificial island of Al-Saji, which is located south of Jaber Causeway, some 400 neighborhood development projects will shortly get constructed. According to Adel Al-Hasawi, the National Fund for Small and Medium Enterprise Development’s acting director general.

The First Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister, Sheikh Talal Khaled Al-Sabah, who also serves as the committee’s chairman, led an inspection visit of the site prior to the announcement.

Along with ministers and other government representatives, the tour was undertaken.

According to Al-Hasawi, the island’s layout, which is intended to be separated into four sections called Al-Bandera, Al-Safar, Marina, and a service area, would serve as a tourist and entertainment destination with food trucks, booths, exhibition areas, and big screens for the general public.

From Ras-Al-Salmiya, visitors to the island can take water taxis to the marina. Visitors can also take tours, and the service area is anticipated to contain parking lots, gas stations, and bus stops.

Soon, the opening bid dates for the project will be made public. On the organization’s website, further information will be promoted, such as registration and application requirements for businesses wishing to participate in the project.
